Celebrate spring migration and step into advocacy for birds at the 2022 Audubon North Carolina Summit this April!
Audubon chapters and members have been working hard to build a state-wide community of bird lovers and bird advocates. After so long apart, now is the time for us to gather, celebrate birds, and inspire each other. All are welcome (you don't have to be a dues-paying Audubon member), and registration is open.
Hosted by Mecklenburg Audubon, this weekend-long event has something for everyone and is timed perfectly to coincide with peak spring migration. Whether your level of birding experience is best captured by “what’s a warbler?” or “must see a Swainson’s Warbler,” there are field trips you will love. Plus, we have a slate of workshops to help you hone your advocacy and birdwatching skills.
Registration is $150. Registration cost is fully refundable up to midnight on April 17.
Scholarships are available for currently enrolled students at Appalachian State University, UNC Asheville, UNC Charlotte, UNC Greensboro, and UNC Wilmington. For more information, contact leaders of Audubon clubs at those campuses or Kim Brand at email@example.com.
We have an exciting schedule of speakers, workshops, and field trips. Schedule at a glance:
For detailed information, check out our Summit Program and Field Trip list here. Again, you will be asked to sign up for workshops and field trips when you register for the Summit.
A note on Covid: Masks will be optional at the indoor workshops and the banquet, which will be outside if weather allows.
Keep up-to-date on all that happens with Audubon North Carolina's research, events and volunteer opportunities.
