North Carolina Birding
The North Carolina Birding Trail and accompanying Coastal Plain, Piedmont, and Mountain guides were completed in 2009. The 310 sites on this driving Trail offer opportunities to explore all of North Carolina's beautiful and diverse habitats. Visit the Birding Trail website (linked below) to view the sites on the trail, order guidebooks, and search an online database that matches sites to bird species and vice versa.
As a member of the NC Birding Trail Steering Committee, the NC Audubon Society has played an integral role in the development and implementation of the Trail.
