Audubon North Carolina works with 10 chapters across North Carolina. Each chapter works at the local level on bird conservation issues, holds a monthly meeting and conducts numerous field trips and programs. To highlight the extensive work happening on the local level, we have spotlighted each chapter in a special blog series.
This series highlights chapters' history and local citizen-science projects that increase statewide understanding of North Carolina’s special ecosystems and our combined work on Important Bird Areas.
