About the Bird-Friendly Native Plants of the Year
Bird-Friendly Native Plants of the Year is all about LOCAL! Local plants, local businesses and local gardens. By supporting local growers in North Carolina, you are helping to lay down roots to buy and plant more bird-friendly native plants. When you grow local, you help our birds with food and shelter as their natural habitats continue to disappear.
We have been working with nurseries near you to supply the 15 plants to grow in 2015. Plant one, plant a few, but be sure to choose from this year’s Bird-Friendly Native Plants of the Year!
